Hot Chocolate*, By: Melissa Dresser, December 17, 2015
It came out PERFECT! Best hot chocolate I've ever had.
Ingredients:
7 cups milk
2½ cups heavy cream
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla
¼ cup cocoa powder
2 cups milk chocolate (I used an 11.5 oz package of Nestle Tollhouse milk chocolate morsels, but you can use whatever chocolate you like!)
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients in the Ninja.
2. Set to Slow Cook Low for 2 hours.
3. Keep stirring occasionally for the first 30 minutes or so, until chocolate is melted.
4. If you want it a little bit thicker you can whisk it for a while and the heavy cream in it will make it nice and frothy.
5. Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Depending on how quickly you will drink it or how you're serving it, you can set it to Buffet/Warm and it will stay the perfect temperature for hours.
This recipe makes a good 12 cups of cocoa at least. Couldn't really keep track since it went so fast!
Added Comment: Mine came out suuuper chocolatey so you can probably add some more milk and heavy cream to it depending on your tastes!
